Dr. Dhar graduated with a Bachelor's of Economics and Music from SUNY Stony Brook. With a strong interest in Healthcare, he went on to earn his Degree in the Dental Sciences at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery.

He subsequently completed an advanced residency program at The Cornell Medical Center of Queens County where he received further skill and post-graduate training in all aspects of General, Oral Surgical, Prosthodontics, Endodontics and Emergency Care.

Dr. Dhar has practiced in Long Island for over 25 years in New Hyde Park and Manhattan, NY. With a strong interest in advancements in Dentistry, he continues to achieve continuing education knowledge and skills including Digital Dentistry advancements.

Dr. Dhar worked under the tutelage of some of the finest and noteworthy Dental professionals in the US including Implant training at Trinon Implant College. Trinon Collegium Practicum (TCP) was founded and created in 2003 by a German dental/medical product manufacturing company, Trinon Titanium GmbH. Trinon Titanium partnered with several maxillofacial surgeons across the world to train implant dentistry planning, surgery and restoration.
